About the role 

Creating safe and enjoyable work is the primary goal of the wellbeing team at Austin Health. As the Workforce Wellbeing Project Officer, you will support the Wellbeing Lead to deliver on projects at scale across the organisation. You will further develop stakeholder relationships; partner with the broader Wellbeing team to design, deliver and evaluate projects and, discover the ways in which we use improvement science alongside legislative requirements to deliver on our strategic aims.

A regular day will see you:

• Deliver impactful wellbeing projects that enhance employee experience across Austin Health.
• Support initiatives that foster a positive, safe and engaging workplace.
• Build strong partnerships with stakeholders and represent wellbeing programs internally and externally.
• Analyse data and insights to drive evidence-based wellbeing strategies and improvements.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of wellbeing policies and practices.

About you 

You will be someone who values making a difference at the human level, has the skills and attributes to deliver projects and drive innovation alongside a high performing team. A self-motivator who has a track record in innovation, creative problem solving and a willingness to participate in development and learn new skills.

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring with you:

• Demonstrated experience in project management, including design, delivery and evaluation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships.
• Background in occupational health and safety or a related health field (or equivalent experience).
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to analyse data, apply insights and drive continuous improvement and innovation.
