About the mental health division
The division is committed to promoting the highest levels of mental health care for our patients. In realising this goal, the division will lead and excel in research, teaching and the use of person-centred
evidence-based practice. The division provides services on all three campuses of Austin Health, from the Emergency Department through to bed-based services and ongoing ambulatory care.
About the role
As the Team Leader, you will work collaboratively with a supportive team of professionals, who are passionate about providing best practice care for those who are experiencing eating disorders. You’ll enjoy our continuing education and quality improvement strategy, which is developed through leadership forums and committees.
You’ll join a friendly and supportive team who genuinely enjoy their work and the contribution they make, oversee and co-ordinate the SEDS clinicians in implementing a new eating disorders model of care into ICYMHS. If you are passionate and experienced in eating disorders in the child and youth mental health sector and enjoy shaping and managing services for children, young people and their families we are keen for you to join us!
A regular day will see you:

Provide operational management to the team.

Facilitate a coordinated approach to total patient management by working with other team members

Participate in continuing education activities

Collaborate with multiple teams across the division
About you
You will be someone who has excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to excellence in patient care. You’ll bring energy and drive to you work and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.
You’ll further have:

A relevant qualification and current AHPRA registration

The ability to provide treatment for a wide variety of eating disorder clinical conditions

The desire to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
