About People and Culture & HR Systems
The People & Culture Division is one of seven directorates reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.
HR Shared Services forms part of the P&C Directorate and incorporates HR Solutions, Payroll, HR Systems & Austin Advantage Salary Packaging, providing a comprehensive range of people services to Austin Health.
The functions of the HR Systems Team are to support the Management of Human Resource Information Systems including the staff portal; SuccessFactors, UKG Workforce Management system solution and in-house data warehouse environment, systems integration, organisational wide reporting suite and employee recruitment and variation system. The effective operation of these systems is required to support staff and for business-critical processes such as recruitment, payroll, scheduling, and management reporting systems.
About the Role
Are you a UKG Workforce Management expert ready to drive system excellence in a dynamic healthcare environment?
Austin Health is seeking a skilled and proactive Senior UKG Systems Analyst to lead the configuration, administration, and continuous improvement of our UKG Pro Workforce Management system.
As the UKG Pro WFM Configuration Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate payroll processing, legislative compliance, and seamless integration across HR and payroll systems. You’ll collaborate with People & Culture, IT, and Payroll teams to support both operational needs and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and configure UKG Pro WFM modules (timekeeping, scheduling, attendance)
- Implement and maintain complex pay rules, accruals, and work schedules
- Lead system upgrades and new feature rollouts
- Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support to end users
- Ensure compliance with legislation and internal policies
- Collaborate across teams to improve processes and data integrity
- Generate reports and analyse workforce data to inform decision-making
- Maintain system interfaces and streamline manual processes
About You
You’re a confident systems analyst with:
- Proven experience in UKG Pro WFM full-cycle implementations
- Advanced scheduling and configuration expertise
- Strong understanding of payroll integrations and enterprise agreements
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Desirable but not essential
- Boomi integration experience
- Custom report writing skills
- Prior experience in healthcare
