About the Radiology Department

The main Department of Radiology is located on Levels 1 and 2 of the Lance Townsend Building, Austin Hospital. The Department comprises 21 diagnostic Staff Radiologists, 9 Interventional Radiologists including 3 neurointerventional radiologists, 4 Visiting Radiologists and 25 Radiology Registrars/Fellows.

 

About the role 

The position is designed for a post part 3 RANZCR (or equivalent) radiology trainee to contribute to efficient radiology department service delivery and education. The position will be under the supervision of the Directors of Fellowship Dr. Yuliya Perchyonok and Dr Kelvin Lim and Medical Director of Radiology, A/Prof Natalie Yang.

 

Role requirements:

  • Available to start ASAP, contract will be up until 1 February 2026
  • 43 hours per week
  • On call/afterhours requirements
  • Local only

 

About you 

As the Senior Radiology Registrar, you will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care. You’ll bring energy and drive to your work and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.

 

To be successful in this role you’ll bring with you:

  • Medical Registration in Australia 
  • Have passed the Part II exam of the RANZCR or equivalent 
  • RANZCR assessed as comparable.
  • Commitment to teamwork, quality, excellence and best practice in health care service delivery
  • Demonstrated commitment to high quality patient care
