About Capital Works and Infrastructure

Capital Works and Infrastructure are responsible for capital projects throughout the Austin Hospital (AH), Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre (RTRC) and the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital (HRH).

Capital developments and regenerations provide an appropriate environment for the patients, staff and visitors which enable Austin Health to deliver the health care and strategic objectives of the organisation.

 

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will report to the Manager of Capital Works and Infrastructure, and will be responsible for the planning and management of the Capital Works and Infrastructure Projects in line with the agreed scope, budget and construction programme.

Our works range from minor refurbishment projects to the planning and construction of new facilities, including infrastructure replacement activities.

 

About you

As the Senior Project Manager, You will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to delivering projects on time, budget and scope. You’ll bring energy and drive to your work, and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring with you:

  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience in delivering infrastructure replacement projects in an operational environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Qualifications in construction or engineering and Work, Health and safety.
