About the HR Business Partnering department
The HR Business Partnering function sits within the People and Culture (P&C) Directorate, and acts as a trusted partner to stakeholders and organisational leadership team. The team work across Austin Health to provide strategic and operational HR advice, coaching and subject matter expertise across a range of HR matters.
About the role
The role reports to the Manager, HR Business Partners and works closely with business leaders in a portfolio that includes both clinical and non-clinical areas of Austin Health.
A regular day will see you:
- Developing and implementing an HR Plan for your business area
- Collaborating with leaders on change programs with team to organisational impact
- Providing subject matter expertise on a range of complex people management matters
- Working closely with P&C departments to deliver a comprehensive service to stakeholders
- Actively contribute to the team and the development of early career business partners
About you
You will have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in service delivery. You’ll bring energy and drive to your work and have a keen interest in collaboration and fostering effective relationships with our P&C colleagues.

- Well-rounded generalist knowledge and experience with exposure to senior leadership teams
