About the Rehabilitation Medicine Department
We are a small but vibrant group of Rehabilitation Physicians. Clinical consultative rehabilitation services are provided by the department of Rehabilitation Medicine to the whole of Austin Health. Inpatient and outpatient services are located at Royal talbot rehabilitation Centre. The department of Rehabilitation Medicine is a part of the Continuing Care division.
About the role
This role is for a long service leave cover the Neurological and General Rehabilitation inpatients working 10.5 hours per week.
A regular day will see you:
- Review patients as needed or on formal ward round
- Attend case conferences and family meetings
- Reach the Advanced Trainee Rehabilitation Registrar and PGY2 Resident
- Respond to referral enquiries and administration requests.

You will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care. You’ll bring energy and drive to your work, and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.
