About Recruitment Operations
Our Recruitment Operations Team provides expertise and operational support to the extended internal hiring manager network to ensure that Austin Health is well positioned to attract key talent. Spanning talent acquisition activities as well as first level HR support, the team is an important interface to ensure positive candidate engagement and high-level service delivery.
The team plays a pivotal role in delivering support services to managers in a range of activities in the recruitment and employment lifecycle, primarily as it relates to creation of job requisitions, job advertising, application of the Recruitment Policy & Guidelines, visa and immigration requirements, employment contract generation and new hire onboarding.

Join Austin Health as a Recruitment Advisor, where you'll play a key role in supporting our decentralised recruitment model and help deliver timely, efficient, and high-quality talent acquisition outcomes.
As a Recruitment Advisor, you’ll partner with hiring managers across the organisation to guide and support recruitment processes from end to end - from job advertising and approvals to contract generation and onboarding. You’ll be part of a collaborative and high-performing team that’s committed to enhancing both the hiring manager and candidate experience.
A regular day will see you:
- Support recruitment requests and HRIS transactions
- Review and post job advertisements that reflect Austin Health’s brand and attract the right talent
- Manage recruitment campaigns and coordinate advertising strategy
- Prepare employment contracts and ensure consistency with the Enterprise Agreement
- Assist in onboarding processes and contribute to process improvements
- Coach hiring managers on best practice recruitment and compliance
- Provide customer service support
- Support audits and compliance checks with accurate record keeping

You are a proactive and adaptable recruitment professional who enjoys working across a variety of roles and stakeholders. You bring a customer-focused mindset, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach.
