About the Recruitment Operations Department

Our Recruitment Operations Team provides expertise and operational support to the extended internal hiring manager network to ensure that Austin Health is well positioned to attract key talent. Spanning talent acquisition activities as well as first level HR support, the team is an important interface to ensure positive candidate engagement and high-level service delivery.

 

The team plays a pivotal role in delivering support services to managers in a range of activities in the recruitment and employment lifecycle, primarily as it relates to creation of job requisitions, job advertising, application of the Recruitment Policy & Guidelines, visa and immigration requirements, employment contract generation and new hire onboarding.

 

About the role

A regular day will see you:

  • Supporting and guide hiring managers in relation to Recruitment Requisitions and the use of the HRIS
  • Provide expert advice on job advertising best practice - both ad copy and advertising channels
  • Accurately generate and check employment contracts that are consistent with the relevant Enterprise Agreement classification structure
  • Provide expertise, insights and improvement ideas to support decentralised recruitment activities and initiatives
  • Monitoring of relevant HR compliance issues and undertake checks/audits on a periodic basis
