About CBDATS
The Community Brain Disorders Assessment and Treatment Service (CBDATS) is part of a multi-component neuropsychiatry program that provides support to individuals with a brain injury or neurodegenerative condition and associated psychiatric disorders. 

CBDATS is a specialist, state wide service providing assessment, short term treatment and consultancy to service providers, consumers and carers in the community. In addition to direct client-based intervention, the service also offers secondary consultation, education and training.


About the role: 

The Program Manager works closely with the Specialty Services Directorate leads to provide clinical and operational leadership to the team.  

A regular day will see you: 

  • Supporting a dedicated and highly skilled team of clinicians 
  • Problem solving creatively to support safe, evidence-based treatment 
  • Fostering positive team culture with a focus on best outcomes for consumers 
  • Contributing to ongoing review and refinement of the service model, including development and expansion 
  • Receiving responsive and timely support from the leadership team


About you:

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced mental health clinician to provide clinical and operational leadership to the Community Brain Disorders Assessment and Treatment Service (CBDATS). 

To be successful in this role you'll bring with you: 

  • Significant clinical and operational leadership skills, within a community mental health setting  
  • A passion for ensuring that consumers and carers are at the centre of care provision 
  • Motivation to ensure practice aligns with current evidence 
  • An appetite for expanding your leadership skills in a specialist service setting 
  • An intentional, reflective, collaborative approach to clinical leadership 
  • Highly developed communication skills
