About EMR Services
EMR Services supports the Digital Health record across multiple hospital sites, working closely with clinical services to deliver safe, reliable and optimised digital workflows. The team operates in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment focused on quality and continuous improvement.
About the role
The EMR Pharmacy Analyst plays a key role in implementing, optimising and supporting medication management within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). The role ensures pharmacy workflows are safely and effectively embedded in Cerner Millennium, supporting high‑quality medication practices, clinical efficiency, and patient safety across Austin Health.
Key responsibilites include:
- Configure, optimise and support Cerner Millennium medication management solutions to align with clinical workflows and medication safety standards.
- Partner with pharmacists, clinicians and digital health leaders to translate pharmacy requirements into effective EMR design and configuration.
- Provide expert support, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of medication-related EMR functionality, including upgrades and enhancements.
About you
We’re looking for a registered pharmacist who has a strong interest in digital health and medication safety, and who enjoys working at the intersection of clinical practice and technology. You’ll be analytical, detail-focused and comfortable working with complex systems, while also being an effective communicator who can engage clinicians, vendors and ICT colleagues. A proactive mindset, commitment to patient safety, and enthusiasm for ongoing optimisation and learning are essential.
