Collections Supervisor – Pathology Collections Department

Join the Pathology Collections Department, committed to delivering exceptional service across Austin Health’s three campuses and regional Victoria, including Shepparton, Mildura, Echuca, Swan Hill, and soon Bendigo (Dec 2025).

 

About the Role:
As Collections Supervisor, you will lead and support pathology collection teams to ensure smooth, compliant operations. Key responsibilities include staff rostering and performance management, conducting site visits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, assisting with training and recruitment, and maintaining quality documentation.

 

About You:

To be successful in this role, you'll bring with you:

  • Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection (or equivalent)
  • Relevant management experience with strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Intermediate computer proficiency (MS Office, lab systems)
  • Commitment to patient-centred care and Austin Health values: Integrity, Accountability, Respect, Excellence
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
