About the department

Austin Radiology Department provides services to patients of Austin Health and the surrounding community.  These include but are not limited to X rays, Ultrasounds, MRI scans, CT scans and surgical procedures.  

The Molecular Imaging and Therapy Service comprises all Nuclear Medicine modalities and embraces the Bone Densitometry service located at the Repatriation campus. The breadth of Nuclear Medicine services is extensive and includes an on-site Cyclotron with comprehensive Radiochemistry and radio-pharmaceutical production facilities. Both departments have strong research involvement with close associations with the Olivia Newton John Cancer Research Institute.

 

About the role 

The Non-research Contracts Administrator role supports the administration and management of non-research related contracts for Radiology and Molecular Imaging and Therapy (MIT), ensuring compliance with organisational processes and procedures and delegations of authority. 

A regular day will see you:   

  • Working closely with the Business Manager overseeing the administration and maintenance of non-research related contracts, track the status of each contract and ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.  
  • Liaise effectively with departmental managers, external vendors, and internal teams (procurement, finance, legal) to manage contract-related activities.  
  • Maintain accurate databases and prepare regular reports on contract status, compliance, and financial transactions.

You will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care. You’ll bring energy and drive to your work and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.

 

You’ll further bring with you: 

  • Strong attention to detail, prioritisation, and time management while working independently and within a multidisciplinary team. 
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills to be able to build positive relationships with internal teams and external vendors; fostering collaboration.
