About Ward 12

Ward 12, is located on the Repatriation Campus of Austin Health and is committed to promoting the highest levels of care for our patients.  We are looking for a Health Care Worker (HCW) who is committed to providing excellence in patient care and customer service to ensure that we promote Austin Health’s values of We Bring Our Best, Together We Achieve, We Shape Our Future and Our Actions Show We Care.

 

About the role
As a Health Care Worker (HCW), you will work collaboratively with a supportive team of professionals, who are passionate about providing best practice care for patients. You’ll enjoy our continuing education and quality improvement strategy, which is developed through leadership forums and committees. You’ll join a friendly and supportive team who genuinely enjoy their work and the contribution they make.  
 
A regular shift will see you work as part of a nursing team to provide quality rehabilitation to the Ward 12 patients. 


The role involves, a wide range of tasks including assisting patients to eat, transfer, daily hygiene and dress as per the Position Description linked below. We will provide a comprehensive onboarding process and orientation to the role, supported by our existing HCW’s and nursing team.
