- $50.65-$57.87 per hour (dependent on classification level), 5 weeks annual leave (pro rata for part time)

About the Occupational Therapy department
Our Occupational Therapy (OT) department at Austin Health is a bustling hub of patient-centred care, continuous improvement, professional growth and supportive career structures. Our focus is on wellbeing, evidence-based service improvement, sustainable workforce, and growth and development.
About the role
Based in the outpatient’s hand therapy team at Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital, you will lead evidence-based service delivery to clients with traumatic, chronic and post-operative conditions affecting their hand function. You will join a supportive and highly skilled Grade 3 group and shape the direction of clinical and non-clinical care in OT through a dedication to:
- Evidence-based service improvement: Grade 3’s are at the forefront of high quality, evidence-based care in OT, influencing best practice within a clinical area.
- Professional growth: Grade 3’s will lead quality and service improvement activities and champion research to ensure we meet the needs of our patients and our colleagues
- Sustainable workforce: Grade 3’s are expert teachers and trainers who grow the skills, knowledge and confidence of our clinical workforce.
- Workforce wellbeing: we care about our teams. We believe that a healthy and happy department delivers great patient care. Grade 3’s will role model behaviours and lead initiatives that will deliver on these aims.
