About HR Services

The HR Shared Services (HRSS) Department is part of the broader People and Culture Directorate. It is a well-regarded operations function, consisting of teams that provide accurate and efficient HR services across the organisation. With a focus on service excellence and customer-centricity, the HRSS teams work collaboratively together and with the broader People and Culture function to support employees and managers through the employee life cycle. HRSS includes payroll, salary packaging, HR services and HR systems.

 

About the role

Reporting to the HR Shared Services Manager, you will contribute to the operational excellence of HRSS by providing consistent, accurate and timely advice and support to managers and employees across a broad range of HR queries.

 

A regular day will see you:

 

  • Provide exceptional customer service support and advice to Austin Health managers and employees on a broad range of HR queries, via phone, email and in person.
  • Understand and interpret all EBAs in order to provide the necessary support to managers and employees.
  • Coach line managers and employees on all matters related to Kronos, contractual arrangements and EBA queries.
  • Work collaboratively with the broader team to ensure all aspects of administrative tasks are attended to in a timely manner.
  • Actively support change projects to ensure stakeholders are well informed, timelines are met and any risk identified and worked through.

 

About you

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring with you:

  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service at all levels of the organisations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prior knowledge and experience with SAP - Success Factors and Kronos 
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to understand and interpret information and data, such as policies, EBAs and other relevant information
  • Highly developed organisational and administrative skills, including strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks and control own workload
  • The ability to be agile and proactively collaborate with the team.
