Applications are invited for suitably qualified and enthusiastic Medical Practitioners to join our team as a General Medicine Advanced Trainee in General Medicine for the 2025 Clinical Year (commencing February 2025).

 

About the department:

As part of the Central Northwest Physician Training Consortium, Austin Health and Northern Health have approximately 25 positions available across their campuses plus an additional two positions at Mercy Health (Obs-Med position will be advertised separately). We offer a great range of rotations including a wide range of specialty terms to general medical advanced trainees.

 

To be successful in this role you must:

  • Demonstrate a commitment to high quality patient care 
  • Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration 
  • Demonstrate an ability to communicate at all levels 
  • Have a current registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) - (note - eligible applicants will be assisted through this process if not currently registered
