About the role

The Fundraising Events & Marketing Manager is part of the Partnerships team in the Austin Health Foundation, and is responsible for designing, managing and marketing fundraising events on behalf of Austin Health and its associated brands.

 

A regular day will see you:

  • Managing and delivering fundraising events of all sizes for Austin Health and the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre
  • Engaging with a broad range of stakeholders and supporters to deliver excellent events that meet participation and fundraising targets
  • Designing and implementing innovative marketing and communications to support in-house and third-party fundraising events and campaigns

 

About you

As the Fundraising Events & Marketing Manager, you are someone who has excellent communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approach. You are driven to excel and bring positive energy to your work, and love working on projects that make things better for the community.

 

To be successful in this role, you'll bring with you:

  • At least five years of experience in event management and marketing
  • Creative flair and exceptional project management and organisational skills
  • Fantastic event management and social media and campaign design skills
  • Proven stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and written communications skills
  • Positive and collaborative approach, with the ability to work autonomously.
