About the role

In this newly developed role, as the Division Manager Virtual Services you will oversee the operational and strategic vision of Austin Health Virtual programs to ensure strong consumer engagement and collaboration through providing care or advice sought from regional and rural health services. As the Divisional Manager you will hold a formal operational leadership role and will be responsible and accountable for the operational performance, financial, quality and risk management of the Virtual Services portfolio, including the provision of day-to-day operational management support.

About you

A senior leader and strategic thinker, you will be key to managing all aspects of operational delivery of the Virtual Hospital program. With an ability to provide clinical operations subject matter expertise, you will be someone who has demonstrated experience in the leadership and management of a health service function.

To be successful in this role you’ll bring with you:

  • A relevant Tertiary level qualification
  • 5+ years’ experience and demonstrated knowledge/experience in critical care environments
  • Significant experience in the development of annual operational plans
