About Business Intelligence Unit
The Business Intelligence Unit is responsible for the key areas:
- Reporting & Analytics
- Corporate Reporting & Analytics
- Data Warehouse Development and Management
- Data Science and Analytics
Clinical Reporting covers all analytical and reporting services for Austin Health in relation to clinical operations and assists with research analytics. Corporate reporting oversees clinical costing, funding analytics and corporate reporting. The Performance & Reporting team are also responsible for the Austin data warehouses and provision of data to the organisation.
About the role
The Datawarehouse Developer will develop new reporting solutions to ensure the data-warehouse is serving the needs of the organisation. You will be part of a project which will take the on-premise data-warehouse to Microsoft Azure.
A regular day will see you:
- Ensure the daily BAU activities are completed
- Code review of development activities
- Ensure the clinical enterprise datawarehouse is in good health
About you
You will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care. You’ll bring energy and drive to your work, and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring with you:
- Deep knowledge and experience in Kimball data-warehousing approach.
- Well developed stakeholder management skills.
- Great communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- A desire to lead and develop team members.
- Deep technical skills in the Microsoft Business Intelligence tool sets.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Data cloud platform.
