About Austin Health:

Austin Health is the major provider of tertiary health services, health professional education and research across three campuses in the North East of Melbourne and state-wide.  We have a highly engaged, diverse and collaborative workforce that is unified by our purpose, which is to help people live healthy and fulfilled lives.

About the role:

This is an exciting time for a carer lived experience worker to our Infant and Child Community Team, one of the two Infant and Child Teams at ICYMHS which have arisen as a result of the recommendations from the Royal Commission into Mental Health Services in Victoria. The teams provide an expansion to the already existing clinical services offered within ICYMHS and aim to improve accessibility and effectiveness of infant and child mental health services.

If you have lived experience as a family member or carer of a child who is experiencing mental health difficulties and are keen to use the knowledge and experiences gained from your own lived experience to benefit other families, carers and supporters including system change then please consider the role.

We are keen to have you on board to join our growing carer lived experience workforce.

Our benefits:

Working at Austin Health means enjoying a strong sense of purpose, engaging in meaningful work every day.  Our people also receive a variety of rewarding benefits, including:
