- Associate Nurse Unit Manager - Ward 6 West – Neurosurgery, Vascular and Ear Nose & Throat
- Ongoing, part time opportunity working 32 hours per week
- Heidelberg location, with multiple public transport options

About Ward 6 West
The Neurosurgery, Vascular and ENT Unit – Ward 6 West is a 28-bed acute inpatient facility, with a 4 bed High Dependency Unit caring for patients undergoing all aspects of neurosurgery including neurovascular; neuro-endochrine; neuro-oncology; epilepsy and spinal surgery. It incorporates vascular surgical beds and we also care for Ear Nose and Throat and Faciomaxillary surgical patients. We boast supportive, experienced staff and an affiliated post graduate neuroscience course that ensures abundant opportunities for professional and clinical development.
About the role
The ANUM plays a vital role in supporting patients and staff, managing clinical deterioration and allowing the flow of patients in and out of the ward to occur smoothly. The role requires communication with and has relationships with multiple disciplines and departments in the organisation which requires highly functioning communication skills; attention to detail and an ability to multitask. The ANUM is also a representative of the Nurse Unit Manager out of business hours.
About you
You will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient centred care. You’ll bring energy and drive to your work, and have a keen interest in leading a team to deliver the best patient outcomes. You will also be passionate about the specialty units and have relevant clinical experience.
