About the Transition Support Unit (TSU):
The Transition Support Unit (TSU) is a purpose-built 7 bed facility for persons with a Mental Illness and Cognitive or Intellectual Disability requiring medium/long-term (6 months - 2 years) supported residential rehabilitation. It provides “step-up” clinical support for consumers from the community, and in some cases a “step-down” option for consumers from Inpatient services.
About the role
The RPN3 Associate Nurse Unit Manager is a recognised clinical leader within the TSU Leadership Team, who works closely with the NUM and medical leads, to ensure the provision of high quality, recovery orientated care, and foster a positive team culture.
A regular day will see you:
- Provide oversight and leadership of daily operations in the unit
- Liaise with NDIS and other external agencies
- Share clinical expertise through role modelling, and provision of guidance and supervision
About you
As the Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM), You will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to
excellence in patient care. You’ll bring energy and drive to your work and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.
