About the Leisure and Creative Therapies team
The Leisure and Creative Therapies team is a vibrant, person‑centred service where creativity, connection and choice shape every client experience. We empower people to explore possibilities, build confidence and rediscover joy through meaningful, supported creative engagement.
About the role
In this unique part‑time role (4 hours per week), you will coordinate and deliver a weekly art program for patients, supporting them to explore their creativity in a warm and welcoming studio environment. You will curate exhibitions of patient artwork, collaborate with volunteers, and help maintain a safe and inspiring creative space. Your work will contribute to a sense of community, confidence and wellbeing for people of all abilities.
About you
You are an engaging, organised and creative professional who thrives on supporting people of diverse abilities to explore and enjoy the artistic process.
To be successful in this role you’ll bring with you:
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect comfortably with people of all abilities
- A person‑centred, empowering approach when working with patients, families and volunteers
- Experience facilitating art groups, ideally with adults
- Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage materials, resources and a shared art space
- Relevant qualifications in Fine/Visual Art, plus teaching qualifications or equivalent experience
