About Asset Services

The Asset Services Department is committed to providing the highest standard of specialised asset management and engineering maintenance service to the Austin Hospital (AH), Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital (HRH) and Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre (RTRC). 

The Asset Services Department are responsible for the operation, maintenance, repair and replacement of all plant and equipment and management of specified medical equipment.

This position is predominately located at the Austin Hospital, but the appointee may be required to work or visit other Austin Health sites and can work remotely as agreed.

 

About the role

As the Administrator, Asset Services, you will provide administrative and operational support to the Asset Services department. You will work closely with the department Managers and team members to achieve team objectives. This is a permanent part time position working Monday to Friday.

A regular day will see you:

  • Working collaboratively with other administrators to manage all facets of the administration tasks for the team.
  • Assist in the equipment coordinator role within the Shared Equipment Store.
  • Manage and maintain departments electronic filing system.
  • Prepare minutes and record taking in relevant meetings.
  • Review of contractor’ monthly key performance indicators and verifying documentation.

As the Administrator, you will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in administrative tasks. You’ll bring energy and drive to your work and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.
