About the Mental Health Division:

The Mental Health Division forms part of Austin Health. It provides a comprehensive range of child, adolescent, youth and adult mental health services to the areas of northeast metro Melbourne along with inter-regional and statewide specialist services, which are provided on both an inpatient basis and in community settings. The Mental Health Division is strongly committed to providing recovery-oriented services by providing holistic, compassionate care and offering partnership in recovery.

A regular day will see you:

  • Have direct interaction with consumers, their families or care givers both face to face and over the phone and ensure that our services meet their needs
  • Perform general and local area administrative tasks
  • Work as part of a supportive admin team meeting accountability requirements for the Department of Health in line with the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act (2022)

 

About you:

We are seeking an experienced, proactive, motivated and highly organised Administration Officer to join to join our team within the Infant Child Youth Mental Health Service (ICYMHS) Community setting. You will be the go to person providing essential support to a multidisciplinary clinical team.  This is a dynamic role, requiring you to take initiative and build strong relationships with internal staff across our division sites, supported by a team of experienced admin officers to ensure your success in the role.
