About the Psychological Trauma Recovery Outpatient Service

A specialist, state wide service providing targeted treatment programs for trauma related mental health conditions to specific client cohorts, including veterans, current service Australian Defence Force personnel, emergency services personnel and survivors of serious workplace or motor vehicle accidents. 

 

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced mental health clinician to join the Psychological Trauma Recovery Service as an Access & Coordination Clinician, working at the front end of the service, providing a supportive first contact for individuals seeking treatment. The Access and Coordination Clinician will be responsible for triaging, undertaking intake processes and in collaboration with the team, recommending suitable treatment options within the service.

 

About you

We are Seeking an enthusiastic clinician with:

  • Experience in clinical mental health service provision, particularly triage and initial assessment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide clear, succinct service information to consumers, carers, referrers and other stakeholders
  • High level self management skills - time management, diligence, reliability
  • Ability to foster and maintain strong positive relationships with referrers and stakeholders
