Nursing specialties
Austin Health is recognised as a national leader in the delivery of clinical and allied health services in many areas and provides the only statewide service for acute spinal injuries, liver transplant and child psychiatry. It is the state referral centre for toxicology.
Approximately 800 overnight beds including:
- Acute - Austin Hospital (466 beds)
- Aged Care - Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital (96 beds)
- Rehabilitation - Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre (80 beds)
- Mental Health - combined sites (156 beds)
