About Surgery and Endoscopy Access

Surgery and Endoscopy Access is part of the Division of Surgery, Anaesthesia, and Procedural Medicine at Austin Health. This team, comprising both administrative and nursing staff, focuses on providing efficient and streamlined care for patients across our campuses.

 

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for two experienced Administration Assistants to join our team. We have full-time or part-time positions available (please specify your preference in your application).  Hours are between 0800am-0430pm, Monday to Friday. The roles are currently fixed until July 2025. You will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

 

A regular day will see you:

  • Providing effective phone support and acting as the main point of contact for Surgical and Endoscopy Access inquiries.
  • Delivering excellent customer service to all stakeholders, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Supporting Liaison Nurses and Clinical Nurse Consultants in their daily duties.
  • Managing administrative tasks, including accurate data entry and record-keeping.
  • Applying a flexible and innovative approach to work processes.
