  • 12 Month Fixed Term Full-Time or Part Time (minimum 3 days per week) Maternity Leave Cover
  • Dual Heidelberg locations, with rotational shifts
  • $58,400 base (pro rata for part time) + up to $11,660 salary packaging + super
  • 5 Weeks Annual Leave

About the Radiology Department:

Our administration team is one of the largest in the hospital and handles close to 500 scans per day. We provide administrative support, including patient reception and bookings, electronic and manual file management, typing, data entry, results distribution and billing services to the Austin Health Radiology division.

 

About the role:

As part of the radiology administration team, you will work collaboratively with other staff members within the department as well as liaise with doctors and health professionals internally and external to Austin Health.

A regular day will see you:

  • Handle patient and medical staff enquiries in person, over the phone or via email
  • Assist with the booking, rescheduling and confirmation of appointments
  • Assist with report distribution and billing enquiries

 

About you:

You will be a dynamic, vibrant and patient focussed team member, who enjoys showing a caring attitude towards both your team and the community we serve. You will have excellent customer service skills and strong general administrative skills, having gained relevant experience in a fast-paced customer or patient facing environment.

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • A patient and customer focused approach to care delivery
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
  • Previous healthcare experience desirable
